Different Clip On Earring Closures
Here's our guide of our different clip on earring closure types! Picking the right type for your ears ensures you get a strong hold while still being comfortable ☺️
How to wear Mosquito Coil Clip On Earrings
With this type of closure, you have to manually pinch the mosquito coil gently against the ear for a more secure hold. Another option is trying to remove the silicon padding to get a tighter hold!
How to wear Screw back Clip On Earrings
With this type of closure, you have to twist the screw at the end to either tighten or loosen the hold on the ear. We recommend loosening the screw to get a wide grip first and then slowly tightening the screw while it is on the ear to your desired liking!
Fun fact: the screw-back closure is our most adjustable closure type!
How to wear Padded Clip On Earrings
With this type of closure, you have to close the padded clip on clasp gently against the ear. It comes with a removable padding for a more comfortable look without compromising on style!
How to wear Sliding Spring Clip On Earrings
For this type of closure, the closure size adjusts automatically, so slide the earring onto the cartilage and then the lobe. You may try different spots as some areas may be more sensitive or use it on a different part of the ear for different comfortable duration.
How to wear Ear Cuffs
To ensure a comfortable and secure fit, simply slide the cuff onto the thinnest part of your ear, usually near the top, and manually adjust to your desired tightness. It should be snug but not too tight to avoid discomfort while staying securely in place.
How to wear Resin Clip On Earrings
For this type of closure, the closure size adjusts automatically, so just open the invisible resin clasp and place the earring onto the lobe. This closure design is a great choice for those with metal allergies or sensitive ears, since it ensures that your ears don’t touch the metal.
